16 bit Pertec Interface card - ATC16

This 16 bit Pertec buffered interface card is for high performance 9 track drives such as the HP88780, M4, or an M990 set to run fast. This card can also run 3480 and 3490 drives with Pertec interfaces such as the T480 or T490. It fits in a full length ISA slot in a DOS® or Windows 95/98/ME® PC.

8 bit Pertec Interface card - ATC8

This 8 bit Pertec buffered interface card is for moderate speed drives such as the Cipher F880 and M990. It fits in a half length ISA slot in a DOS® or Windows 95/98/ME® PC.

Which controller and software can you use?

  • Pertec interface drives must a Pertec cards with compatible software.
  • SCSI interface drives must use a SCSI controller.
  • Electrovalue Pertec software is available for our Pertec cards running under DOS®and Windows 95/98/ME®.
  • Electrovalue SCSI drive software is available for SCSI cards running under Windows 95/98/ME®.
  • DCX® SCSI drive software is available for SCSI cards running under Windows XP/2000/7®.
  • If you have Pertec interface drives you have to use our software with our controller cards. If you want to run SCSI drives under DOS, Windows 95/98/ME you can use our SCSI software.
  • If you want to run under Windows XP/2000/7® you have to use a SCSI drive with DCX brand software.
